ehhh just lost all my original copies to Irene. Storm flooded the basement where all my artwork was stored....

So as a senior in high school the decision of what college to go to and for what major was one i had to contemplate long and hard. Unfortunately, living in NJ, there are no colleges with decent art programs within the state. I'd probably have to go out of state to New York to pursue this career but that will leave me with less financial aid and one hell of a road trip. So, in the end im just deciding to give up the career altogether. I always loved math and science so currently my foremost choice for a major will be civil engineering. Today i took the time to look through some of my favorite artists' pages on DA. I could go through their gallery all day if it werent for the fact that i get depressed with every illustartion that passes by. I see the creativity and uniqueness within every single one of their peices, but mine, they're just repeats. My friends say that i have awesome shading and coloring skills but what good is that without any creativity? I ask myself, am i even considered an artist? I cant draw from my head and always need a referance. Im just another human copy machine. No sense of "me" goes into any of my artwork and, to me, thats just pathetic. It kinda m
